PCB Schematic Drafter

Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking an experienced PCB Schematic Engineer / Schematic Draftsman to support hardware design teams by converting engineering concepts into production-ready PCB schematics. This role serves as the primary schematic subject matter expert (SME), owning the schematic capture environment from setup through execution. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Cadence System Capture and Cadence Allegro, is capable of independently managing schematic libraries and tools, and thrives in a fast-paced hardware development environment supporting complex PCB designs.

• Expert-level experience with Cadence System Capture and Cadence Allegro
• Proven experience creating and managing complex PCB schematics
• Ability to translate engineering concepts, sketches, and design documentation into production-ready schematics
• Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining schematic libraries and capture environments independently
• Strong understanding of PCB design workflows and schematic-to-layout handoff processes
• Experience serving as a schematic SME and supporting hardware engineers throughout the design cycle
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Preferred: Experience with OrCAD, Altium, or other PCB design tools
• Preferred: Background supporting enterprise-scale hardware, server, consumer electronics, or Microsoft hardware programs
