Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist Physician

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Inpatient hospital coverage; 12 shifts per month needed. Shift times are 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM. Provider must be willing to work both days and nights. No call.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital-based Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist.
• Types of Cases: Labor and delivery management, low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients, Cesarean sections, spontaneous abortions, ovarian torsion, gynecology emergency department patients, and unassigned obstetric patients. Assists private physicians with planned and unplanned Cesarean sections.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Clean application required for a September 1, 2026, start. Providers with settlements, Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, Medical Board actions, or similar concerns are not eligible for temporary privileges.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Licensure Required: Active state medical license, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration, and Board Certification or Board Eligibility within 6 years of residency.
