Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00-07:00

Contract Length: 3 weeks

Job Description:

Registered Nurse position in the NICU providing care for premature and high-risk infants, including those with respiratory distress and other complex medical issues. Responsible for managing patient care with a detailed focus on developing care plans, administering medications, and utilizing advanced ventilatory support techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory support, including ventilator management and care of tracheostomies.
• Perform management of G-tubes, NG/OG tubes, NCPAP, UAC/UVC, and PICC lines.
• Administer medications and implement care plans.
• Prepare infants for discharge to home, ensuring continuum of care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required, with a valid WA state license.
• Preferred experience with surgical patients and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
