We are currently seeking a full-time Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Laurel, Maryland.

We provide 24/7/365 care through a collaborative team of general practitioners and emergency veterinarians. What You Can Expect
• Consistent, Predictable Overnight Schedule
Work a consistent 7 p.m.–7 a.m. overnight block, 3 shifts per week, with the same shifts each week unless mutually agreed upon otherwise. Weekend coverage offers some flexibility, with the primary need being consistent overnight coverage.
• Strong Overnight Support
You’ll be supported by 2–3 technicians per overnight shift, including at least one LVT, with general practice and swing-shift doctors available into the evening depending on the day.
• Manageable Caseload
The average overnight caseload is approximately 8–10 cases per shift, with Monday and weekend nights typically being busier.
• Professional Development

Our hospital is equipped with ultrasound and endoscopy to support advanced diagnostics and patient care.

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive salary: $180,000–$225,000+, based on experience

Who We’re Looking For
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
• Licensure (or ability to obtain) in the state of Maryland
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality care
• A compassionate, client-focused approach
• Surgery experience is preferred but not required
