Solution Delivery Manager

DescriptionThis position is responsible for delivering solutions and technology associated with the Applied Solutions Program for all business units and platforms. Leader of a cross functional team that committed to delivering IT solutions/services to the business that will help with their success. ResponsibilitiesAdvanced knowledge of various systems/products in portfolioUnderstanding of system dependencies and functionsManage information/data gathering processManage delivery of new technologies and solutionsIdentify, investigate, and resolve discrepanciesAssist and influence purchasing decisions within ProgramInvestigate new features and functionality of current and future technologyGuide and support departmental goals for all business units and product platformsDevelop and mentor direct reports; conduct formal performance evaluations and reviewsContinuing to improve processes and collaboration within departmentTeam building within departmentHelp create and maintain training for Operational UseLead team that is side by side with business when gathering/deploying solutionsCommunicate and implement new trainingLead team in testing efforts needed for solutionCollect information on technology of newly acquired companies or fleet conversionsParticipate in and lead parts of projectsAssign resources for projectsCoordinate travel for resourcesPoint of escalation to expedite resolution within department and projectsManages requirements of new technologies and solutionsWorks with business to determine needs in technologiesEvaluates business needs and identifies opportunitiesPosition RequirementsFormal Education & CertificationCollege diploma or university degree required Degree in the field of computer science, management information systems, supply chain, business management preferredKnowledge & Experience (at least 3 years experience for each of the following unless noted)IT project or IT work related experienceExperience managing technology related projects and/or programsAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeExtensive experience with core software applicationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.Experience of working with systems used by multiple departments/whole companyPrevious supervisory experience (at least 2 years)Personal AttributesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Strong leadership skillsAbility to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.Ability to communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.Logical and efficient.
