Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED-Emergency Department

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Triage patients after reviewing facility policies
• Handle a patient ratio of 1:3-4 during the day, with variations at night
• Manage common emergency cases including traumas and MVAs
• Coordinate with ED physicians and mid-levels present 24/7

Requirements of the RN - ED-Emergency Department

• Valid MI License in hand
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
