Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in the treatment of patients with various medical conditions and injuries Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Conduct initial patient evaluations and develop treatment plans, as directed by a Physical Therapist Provide patient education and training on exercises, techniques, and self-care strategies Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress Collaborate with the Physical Therapy team to ensure comprehensive care Demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise and technical proficiency Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field preferred Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Must be certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and maintain certification through continuing education and professional development Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently Must have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for improving lives About Our Organization At Avir at Southcross, every patient\'s journey matters deeply to us, and we\'re committed to ensuring you or your loved one feels supported, comfortable, and empowered every step of the way.
