Field Services Technician

Our client, is seeking a dedicated Field Services Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Field Services Technician, you will be an essential part of the IT support team, providing on-site technical assistance and ensuring seamless operation of computer systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Field Services Technician Location: Fremont, California M-F 8-5 HRS -ONSITE Pay Range: $34 What's the Job? Provide on-site technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Assist users with hardware and software issues, ensuring high standards of customer service and technical excellence. Support conference room technology such as projectors, display screens, telephony equipment, and conferencing tools like Teams and Zoom. Maintain security protocols, including password management, data integrity, and file system security. Document technical issues and resolutions accurately in the incident management system and communicate effectively with team members and users. What's Needed? Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems, including system imaging processes. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, flexibility, and effective time management. Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact confidently with users and team members. Proficiency supporting Windows 7, 10, 11, and Mac OS, including mobile platforms like iOS and Android. Knowledge of Active Directory, password security, data integrity, and file system security, including experience with Bitlocker. What's in it for me?
