Known for their commitment to quality, high efficiency, and a team-first company culture, our client is expanding their team and seeking an organized, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to keep operations moving seamlessly!Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Position OverviewAs a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you won't just be moving boxes — you'll be the critical hub of the warehouse floor! You will manage incoming inventory, prepare outgoing shipments, verify documentation, and ensure local and national shipments stay right on schedule.Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Key ResponsibilitiesInbound & Outbound Logistics: Receive, unpack, inspect, and verify incoming freight against packing slips and purchase orders.Order Preparation: Safely package, label, and stage finished goods for freight and small-parcel transit (UPS, FedEx, LTL).Material Handling: Safely operate a pallet jack to stage materials and load/unload trucks.Inventory Tracking: Record incoming/outgoing shipments into the inventory management system with high accuracy.Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse leads, customer service, and delivery carriers to resolve any shipping discrepancies quickly.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 1–3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse logistics.Equipment: Previous experience operating a pallet jack.Tech-Savvy: Basic computer proficiency for data entry, printing bills of lading (BOLs), and printing shipping labels.Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift.Mindset: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.Why Work with PrideStaff?At PrideStaff Dayton, we don't just find you a job — we find you the right job.
