Church Profile Boyd Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking the man of God to serve as our next Senior Pastor due to the impending retirement of the incumbent. We are looking for someone to shepherd a healthy, multi-generational congregation averaging 200 weekly worshippers who are from Bonham and surrounding rural areas within a 20-mile radius of the church. Boyd is a loving missional and family-oriented body of believers focused on building the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. About Our Church Boyd Baptist Church is located 3 miles north of Bonham, Texas, and has been a part of this community for 75 years. Our church offers a mix of modern and traditional worship styles with Biblically sound hymns and contemporary songs. We utilize a full Praise Team and occasionally a full choir. Christ-centered Sunday School classes for children, youth, and adults are healthy and productive. Mid-week Bible studies for men and women are currently led by the Senior Pastor and his wife. We are committed to sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ with all who come through our doors. Theological Alignment : Our church is strongly committed to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and proudly partnered with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC) and the SBC for global missions. Financial Health : Boyd Baptist Church is highly stable and 100% debt-free with a current annual budget of $620,000. Our area is currently experiencing significant growth in master-planned residential developments. These developments present an exciting opportunity for Boyd Baptist to reach new families and expand its gospel witness throughout our community.
