Description:

Basic Function: To assist team lead in preparing for, executing, and completing all assigned tasks, as directed.

Primary Duties

1. Take ownership of this position. 
2. Follow all company policies and procedures.

5. Arrive to shop at assigned time, ready to work, and with a neat, professional appearance.
6. Ensure you clock into appropriate job.
7. Assist in loading all materials, supplies and equipment required for job, as directed.
8. Ensure you are in compliance with all safety requirements at all times.
9. Assist in the execution and completion of assigned job in a safe, proficient, and efficient manner, as directed.
10. Upon return to shop, assist in unloading equipment and supplies from truck, as directed.
11. Assist in cleaning truck, as directed.
12. Other duties as directed.

Supervision Received: This position reports to the Lead Technician for the job assigned.

Supervision Exercised: This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment / Environmental Conditions: 

1. The majority of your time will be spent working on job sites in an outdoor, field environment.
2. While on the job site you may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
3. While on the job site, you may occasionally be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.
4. The noise level in the work environment and on job sites can be very loud.
5. You may be required to work near mechanical parts and in outside conditions that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat and humidity, dust, sulfur, waste and chemicals.
6. Some work environments may require full face respirators, Tyvek suit, and coveralls.
7. Moderate travel is expected with this position requiring overnight and week(s)-long travel away from home.

Education and / or Experience Required: 

High School diploma or equivalent.

Certifications / License / Registrations Required:

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Fork-lift Certification.

Aerial-lift Certification.

MSHA Certification.

Skills Required:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands: 

Must be able to work in typical Florida weather conditions.

Must be able to talk and hear.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to be very active and be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb.

Position may require working at heights more than 200 feet off the ground.

Must be able to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
