Unit Overview: The Randallia ICU is a 12-bed critical care unit located on the main floor of Parkview Randallia, providing care for patients with moderate to high acuity needs. The unit serves a mixed population of ICU and progressive-level patients who require advanced monitoring, intensive medical management, and timely interventions for complex conditions. Care is delivered in a fast-paced environment by a collaborative team that includes nurses and patient care technicians, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, prioritization, and effective communication. The Randallia ICU supports a broad range of critical care needs while maintaining flexibility to manage patients across varying levels of acuity, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Requires a diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN
• Valid Indiana registered nurse license required. CPR certification.
• Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds. (Lifting requirements may be heavier for specified departments.) Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
