We’re looking for a talented, creative, and open-minded Line Cook to join our growing kitchen team. If you thrive in an open kitchen environment, have a love for exploring new culinary techniques, and are excited to collaborate with a dynamic crew, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes and refine existing ones.
- Work with seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients, emphasizing global flavors and techniques.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Contribute to the positive, creative, and supportive team culture that defines Heirloom Kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (line cook or similar role).
- A passion for food and a curiosity to explore different culinary styles and techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-energy environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with or interest in New American, contemporary, and globally inspired cuisine is a plus.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
