Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Excellent outcomes start with great people, and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on Day shift at Riverside Regional Jail in North Prince George, VA.The LPN will work 7a-7:30p with rotating weekends.You'll be eligible for the following:Competitive Pay401K retirement plansHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceShort-Term Disability and Life coverageOn-Demand Payment (Make any day payday)Nurse Student Loan RepaymentTuition ReimbursementGenerous Paid Time OffHealth Savings AccountWe look forward to connecting with you!ResponsibilitiesProvide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.Assist health care providers, registered nurses, and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures.Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs and administers TB skin tests.Conduct lab tests and ensures the results are delivered to the correct physician or registered nurse.Ensure patient is receiving proper care for injury or condition.Review patient chart; records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient's conditions.Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities or outside health care providers; administer medications; implement healthcare practitioners' orders; and document all patient contacts using the POMR format.QualificationsCurrent/Active state license as an LPNCurrent CPR certificateProficient with electronic medical recordsAbility to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screenAt Armor Health, we are raising the standard of care to impact the lives of those we serve by partnering with exceptional correctional organizations to improve health care outcomes.
