Oncology Nurse Educator - New Haven, CT

AbbVie seeks an Oncology Nurse Educator to provide clinical education and resources to allied healthcare professionals supporting cancer patient management. This field-based role covers Connecticut and Rhode Island, focusing on product knowledge, disease state awareness, and patient care team support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive and reactive clinical education to allied healthcare professionals using approved resources
- Develop customized educational plans addressing specific account needs and clinical challenges
- Educate on product preparation, administration, adverse event management, and patient protocol initiation
- Conduct 1:1 presentations, in-services, and podium presentations at regional and national meetings
- Document customer interactions and collaborate across internal functional teams on oncology initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD; master's degree preferred
- Current active healthcare provider license
- 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology background
- Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice settings
- Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel 50% including overnight
