Key responsibilities Review and code outpatient medical records for accuracy and compliance Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding queries Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations Required qualifications Certification as a CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding credential Minimum of two years of outpatient coding experience Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems Ability to work independently in a remote environment Residency in IL, IN, IA, WI, OH, MO, MI, or FL
