Responsibilities Analyze and interpret client financial data, identify and assess cross‑border intercompany transactions, including tangible goods, services, intellectual property, and transfer pricing positions. Review transfers of tangible goods, services, and intellectual property transactions. Conduct functional analysis interviews, perform documentation, planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements. Lead multiple transfer pricing engagements, ensuring delivery of quality tax planning and consulting projects for diverse clients. Maintain technical competence, stay up‑to‑date on trends, developments, and technical authorities, applying them to complex situations. Collaborate and build relationships with Baker Tilly member firms worldwide. Provide transfer pricing technical guidance to tax professionals firm‑wide. Assist with engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met. Network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients, exercising entrepreneurial skills. Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance or Economics (required). Eight (8) or more years of specific transfer pricing experience (required). Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates (desired). Experience creating and working with complex financial models, drafting detailed functional analyses, and producing concise, accurate technical writings (required). Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. Proficient in project economics, budgeting, and billing to meet profitability targets. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (highly preferred). Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $146,760 to $278,240 nationally; $155,500 to $278,240 in California. BakerTilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
