Instructional Specialist - General Subjects (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

SUMMARY

Instruct students in general subjects related to TUSD curriculum.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Two (2) years of experience with youth Associate’s (or higher) degree or Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test or 60 Semester-Hour credits at an institute of higher learning (Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire). Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

FBI fingerprint background check. Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Music & Drama background Bilingual in English and Spanish
