The Cognitive Neurology/Dementia Division within the Department of Neurology at our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist who has successfully completed a fellowship in Cognitive Neurology. We have established a comprehensive center for both research and patient care, recognized as one of the top 10 Centers of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease in New York State. This center was founded with the aim of revolutionizing dementia care in upstate New York and accelerating advancements in prevention and treatment. With strong institutional and community backing, along with additional philanthropic contributions, we are eager to find a candidate who is deeply passionate about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and who envisions expanding our educational and clinical research initiatives while delivering outstanding clinical care.

Our center serves a diverse patient population within an academic hospital environment, covering 23 counties and over 2.5 million residents.

• Work collaboratively with a committed team of neurologists, neuropsychologists, geriatric psychiatrists, social workers, and other support staff.
• The successful applicant will have numerous opportunities to educate medical students, residents, and fellows as part of our academic faculty.
• Engage in multiple ongoing research projects, with encouragement and support for research and scholarly activities based on the clinician's skills and achievements.
