The ideal candidate will bring strong SolidWorks design experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to drive projects to successful launch.Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this position will play a key role in the design, development, validation, and launch of innovative engineered products within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on mechanical design engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, working closely with manufacturing and suppliers, and driving products from concept through production readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop component models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings utilizing SolidWorksCreate and manage complete master assemblies for new product development programsUtilize SolidWorks Simulation / FEA tools to analyze and optimize product designsParticipate in DFMEA activities and apply results to improve product reliability and performanceCollaborate with internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers to ensure design manufacturability and production readinessConduct drawing reviews with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teamsPerform tolerance stack-up analysis to optimize fit, function, and assembly performanceSupport product testing and validation activities while incorporating findings into design improvementsLead and organize design reviews to ensure cross-functional alignment throughout the development processIndependently drive component and assembly designs through development, validation, and release phasesSupport project timing, cost targets, and engineering deliverables to ensure successful product launchesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline7 - 10 years (+) of relevant product design or mechanical engineering experienceStrong proficiency with SolidWorks parts, assemblies, and detailed drawingsAbility to work effectively within a team-oriented engineering environmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to take ownership of projects and drive results independentlyPreferred QualificationsExperience designing complex mechanical assembliesHydraulic systems or hydraulic component experience preferredExperience utilizing SolidWorks FEA / Simulation toolsBackground supporting products from concept through production launch Razorjack Consulting
