Roofing Project Manager

The Roofing Project Manager serves as the primary operational leader for residential roofing projects. This position coordinates subcontractor crews, materials, scheduling, inspections, and homeowner communication while ensuring each project is completed on time, within budget, and according to Midland's quality standards. The Roofing Project Manager is the homeowner's primary point of contact throughout construction and plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, professional remodeling experience. Key responsibilities include: Manage residential roofing projects from production scheduling through final completion. Coordinate project timelines, review project specifications and work orders, and conduct pre-construction planning. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that arise during construction. Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and communicate project schedules, expectations, weather delays, and progress updates. Conduct pre-installation and post-installation walkthroughs and ensure punch list items are completed promptly. Coordinate and oversee subcontractor roofing crews while monitoring workmanship, productivity, professionalism, and job site cleanliness. Verify projects are completed according to manufacturer requirements and Midland quality standards. Verify materials are ordered accurately and delivered before project start dates, and resolve material shortages or delivery issues. Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs while managing projects to meet profitability goals. Inspect projects for quality, safety, building code, manufacturer, and warranty compliance. Track project timelines, budget performance, customer satisfaction, subcontractor performance, quality metrics, and warranty items. Maintain accurate project documentation in Midland's CRM and production management systems, including project milestones, communications, change orders, inspections, photos, and warranty documentation. Collaborate with sales, customer service, accounting, and leadership to ensure seamless project execution and communication. Qualifications: Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofing projects. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience managing residential roofing projects preferred. Experience supervising subcontractor crews preferred. Knowledge of residential roofing systems and installation practices preferred. Understanding of building codes, OSHA requirements, and manufacturer specifications preferred. Experience in residential construction or remodeling preferred. Familiarity with CRM, production management, or project management software preferred.
