We are now hiring Part Time Pet Care Specialists at our Warren facility.
Schedule: This is a part-time position (15 - 20 hours per week). Shift lengths vary based on business needs and your availability. Morning shifts begin at 6:00 AM; evening shifts end as late as 10:00 PM. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Pay: Starting rate is $16.00-$17.50/hour based on prior professional pet care experience.
No prior professional experience is required—but a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is essential!
What You'll Be Doing
- Engage hands-on in the health and wellness of our canine and feline guests.
- Prepare & deliver meals while following precise schedules and instructions.
- Provide engaging enrichment activities, including walks, off-leash play, and cuddle sessions.
- Maintain detailed observations and records for each pet guest to support quality care and customer service.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the facility and pet areas.

What We're Looking For
- Comfort and confidence walking and handling dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, including reading, comprehending, and analyzing written material (for documentation, communication, and safety procedures)
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time, often on hard surfaces, and lift/push/pull/move up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level
- Capable of working in noisy environments and around dog and cat dander, waster and cleaning chemicals
- Availability to work on weekends and holiday (essential as we care for pets 365 days a year!)
