Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support retail pharmacy operations in a grocery store setting in South Dakota. This role involves providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring smooth workflow within a fast-paced retail environment.

Location: South Dakota
Assignment: 13+ week contract
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Review and oversee the work of pharmacy technicians
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
• Respond professionally to pharmacy and patient phone inquiries
• Assist in daily retail pharmacy operations and inventory management
• Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional tasks and compliance requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the pharmacy team
