Schedule: 3 Production Shifts Available

1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Compensation:

• Temp-to-Hire Base Rate: $16.50/hr
• Quality Technician Fill-In Differential: Additional $1.50/hr
• Full-Time Base Rate Upon Hire: $17.50/hr
• Quality Technician Fill-In Differential: Additional $1.50/hr

About the Opportunity

CPAY Staffing & Recruiting is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Line Operators for a manufacturing facility in St. Louis, MO.

This position will primarily operate as a Line Operator, with the opportunity to be cross-trained to assist with Quality Technician duties when a Quality Technician is absent or when the position is temporarily vacant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in learning additional quality-related responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line equipment
• Load materials and remove finished products from the production line
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Trim, stack, package, and prepare finished products as needed
• Maintain production pace while following safety and quality standards
• Complete required production documentation accurately
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Report equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns to leadership
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and production adjustments as needed
• Cross-train to perform Quality Technician duties when needed
• Fill in for Quality Technician responsibilities during absences or temporary openings

Quality Technician Backup Duties May Include

• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Inspect materials and products to ensure they meet company standards
• Document quality results and report non-conforming products
• Communicate quality concerns to production leads or supervisors
• Support production teams in maintaining quality and consistency
• Follow established inspection procedures and quality guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or quality inspection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and documentation skills
• Willingness to cross-train and assist in quality-related duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work around production equipment and machinery safely
