Shop Clerk - Power Rental

Shop ClerkThe Shop Clerk will report directly to the Service Manager and will be responsible for supporting multiple branch Service Department personnel through detailed handling of a variety of administrative duties including handling incoming calls, opening and closing work orders, adjusting time on work orders, producing reports for Service Management, scheduling Preventative Maintenance on the fleet and other duties not specified.Essential Responsibilities & Expectations:Handle incoming phone callsTake and deliver messages to personnelEffectively communicate with Service Department Personnel to address customer needsOpen and properly segment work orders applying correct codes and tax informationHandle closing of Work Orders in a timely fashionAdjust Service Technician time when necessaryObtain purchase orders from customers as requiredGenerate purchase orders for the service departmentProduce reports for Service Management as requiredOther duties assigned by Service ManagementUphold the Core Values of Safe and Secure, Stronger Together, People of Integrity, and Driven to Serve.Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or the equivalentExperience:Prior clerical or administrative experience is desired. Experience and demonstrated skill using personal computers including Microsoft Excel and basic typing skills are required for this position.
