PRN Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) - Albuquerque, NM Del Corazon Hospice | PRN / Per Visit Del Corazon Hospice is hiring a compassionate and dedicated PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hospice nursing visits to patients throughout Albuquerque and surrounding communities . Position Summary The PRN Hospice RN provides skilled nursing care, symptom management, and compassionate support to hospice patients wherever they call home. This role partners closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort, dignity, and excellent end-of-life care. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled hospice nursing visits in Albuquerque and nearby areas Conduct patient assessments and manage pain/symptom control Administer medications and treatments per physician plan of care Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families through the hospice journey Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team (IDT) including social work, chaplain, aides, and medical director Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Participate in PRN coverage needs and optional on-call rotation based on availability Serve as an advocate for comfort-focused, patient-centered care Qualifications Active RN license in New Mexico (required) At least 1 year of nursing experience (hospice/home health strongly preferred) Strong assessment, communication, and independent decision-making skills Ability to work autonomously in the field with excellent time managementValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle CPR certification preferred Why Del Corazon Hospice?
