This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Registered Nurse - Float Pool | Nights | Full Time Shift Details

• Full Time, 3x12 Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• 2 On-Call shifts required per 4-week period
• Must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department units across two locations

Licensure

• Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Required Certifications

• BLS - through AHA or RQI system (required during clinical orientation)
• ACLS - through AHA or RQI system (required during clinical orientation)
• PALS - through AHA or RQI system (required during clinical orientation)
• NIHSS - required
• Basic Coronary Care - required within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification - required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Certifications

• Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association - recommended within 2 years of hire
• TNCC - recommended within 2 years of hire

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units
• Must be cross-trained or willing to float to Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department
