As one of the nation's largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, CommonSpirit Health delivers more than 20 million patient encounters annually through more than 2,300 clinics, care sites and 158 hospital-based locations, in addition to its home-based services and virtual care offerings.As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.Prepares equipment for imaging tests, based on physicians' orders and in adherence to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality results.Prepares patient and performs MRI procedures.Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements.Performs incidental general office duties to include; answering phone; scheduling; filing; maintaining patient records; ordering supplies.Required:Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hire andMedical Radiographer: WA (MRAD:WA), upon hire andRegistered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR), upon hire orRegistered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RTMR), upon hireWhere You'll WorkVirginia Mason Franciscan Health has a rich history of providing exceptional healthcare, dating back to 1891.
