Teller Position at Blaze Vadnais Heights Branch

Blaze is currently hiring for a Teller at our Vadnais Heights branch. At Blaze we focus on people, not profits. Blaze is pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this position. New hires are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid over one year. Candidates with Fiserv DNA experience are eligible for a $5,500 sign-on bonus, paid over two years.

• Engage with our members, listen to them, and understand their situations
• Educate our members on what Blaze can do for them
• Process transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy and professionalism

Your Schedule:

• This position will be FT 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. (Saturday paid 1.5x for hours worked).
• Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the organization.

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $21.00 -$23.00/hour . This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.

Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses?

• Minimum High School degree or equivalent?
• Cash handling and customer service experience is strongly preferred?

Demonstrated Knowledge?

• Skill of selling, including the ability to identify member's needs to explain features and benefits of Blaze services and to close sales opportunities?
• Well organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to work independently or on a team?

Communication Skills? Ability to proactively respond to members/staff to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified Physical Requirements? Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs. Weekly schedule includes Saturday hours.
