Volunteer Photographer and Videographer | CHR's 25th Anniversary Gala at Guastavino's

Organization: Foundation for Reproductive Medicine (FRM) Event: A Night to Believe — celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Center for Human Reproduction (CHR) Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 Location: Guastavino's, 409 East 59th Street, New York, NY Time commitment: Approximately 5 to 6 hours on the evening of the event, plus post-production turnaround within 3 to 4 weeks About the event The Center for Human Reproduction (CHR), founder of the Foundation for Reproductive Medicine (FRM), is celebrating 25 years of advancing fertility care and helping patients become parents. To mark this milestone, FRM is hosting A Night to Believe , a gala evening at Guastavino's, one of New York City's most architecturally striking event venues. The program will include physician honorees, patient stories, and a traditional Japanese Awa Odori dance performance. All proceeds from the gala go directly to FRM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing research and education in reproductive medicine. The Opportunity We are seeking a volunteer photographer and a volunteer videographer (or one creative who covers both) to capture this milestone evening. Guastavino's vaulted tile ceilings, the black-tie atmosphere, and the Awa Odori performance offer exceptional creative material for portfolio work. Responsibilities Photographer: Candid and posed coverage of guests, honorees, speakers, and performances Architectural and ambiance shots of Guastavino's Step-and-repeat / arrivals coverage Delivery of edited, color-corrected high-resolution and web-ready files Videographer: Short-form highlight reel suitable for social media (60 to 90 seconds) B-roll of speeches, performances, and key moments Optional longer-form recap (3 to 5 minutes) for FRM and CHR's websites and donor communications What you bring Professional camera, lenses, and lighting equipment suitable for low-light indoor coverage A portfolio demonstrating event, editorial, or gala work Comfort moving through a black-tie environment with discretion and polish Reliability and clear communication What you receive Full photo and video credit across FRM and CHR communications, social media, and press placements Portfolio-grade work at a landmark NYC venue Networking access to physicians, philanthropists, and press in attendance Dinner and beverages during the event To apply Send a brief note of interest along with a portfolio link to View email address on click.appcast.io .
