**Join Our Dynamic PACU Team as a Registered Nurse!** - **Position:** Registered Nurse, PACU - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 3 years in PACU - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care to patients in Phase I and II recovery - Utilize your strong background in ophthalmology for patient assessments and care - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient recovery - Administer medications, including emergency medications and procedural sedation - Conduct pre-op and post-op patient assessments and education - Engage in monitoring and management of cardiac dysrhythmias **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - PALS **Preferred Skills and Experience:** - Proficiency in Epic charting system - Experience with airway assessments and extubation - Knowledge of various types of anesthesia including General and MAC - Familiarity with a range of surgical cases: - General - Orthopedic - Ophthalmology - GYN - Plastic Surgery - Robotic Surgery **Work Environment:** - Ambulatory/Outpatient focus - Supportive atmosphere with access to interpretation services **Scheduling and Availability:** - Call required post-shift from 1800-2100, frequency depends on department needs - Weekend availability not required - Scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered - Must include any time-off requests at time of submission **Patient Age Groups:** - Adolescents - Adults - Pediatrics - Geriatrics **Unit Details:** - Total Staffed Beds: 320 - Daily Census: 30 - Number of Rooms: 7 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
