Automation Technician
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks an Automation Technician to support laboratory automation projects in pharmaceutical research settings. The role involves implementing, testing, and optimizing automation systems while collaborating with vendors and internal teams. This position targets individuals pursuing or recently completing degrees in automation, robotics, engineering technology, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Support automation implementation, configuration, testing, and commissioning in laboratory settings
- Execute equipment benchmarking, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting activities
- Track project timelines and drive completion of implementation milestones
- Document procedures, test results, issues, and equipment performance data
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed degree in automation, robotics, engineering technology, or related field
- Basic understanding of laboratory environments and safe work practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Basic familiarity with coding, automation software, or artificial intelligence concepts
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities toward defined milestones
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement
