Role details: This is a 100% remote contractor role open to applicants worldwide. The role A pet owner should be able to find the service, trust the business, and take the next step without fighting the website. You will build and maintain websites and landing pages that make that path clear, work correctly on real devices, load responsibly, and support the client's SEO and paid media. This role owns more than the visible page. Forms, call tracking, analytics, schema, hosting, DNS, SSL, responsiveness, and launch QA all matter. You will coordinate with Design, SEO, PPC, and Account Management, then document the finished work so another qualified person can understand what changed. Nothing goes live on confidence alone. You test the form, the tracking, the links, the layout, and the approved content before launch, then verify the live result. What you will own Build and maintain client websites and landing pages on WordPress, Duda, GoHighLevel, and other approved platforms. Execute technical fixes, responsive layouts, forms, schema, tracking, speed improvements, and approved integrations. Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking in coordination with PPC and SEO. Test work across relevant devices and browsers before launch and verify the public result afterward. Support approved website migrations, hosting, SSL, DNS, and domain configuration work. Respond quickly to site-down events, broken forms, tracking failures, and other critical issues. Document configurations, dependencies, approvals, changes, and rollback information in the approved systems. Coordinate with Design, SEO, PPC, and Account Management so the build matches the brief and business goal. Talk Is Cheap A build is complete when the live page, forms, tracking, links, and responsive behavior have been tested and the evidence is recorded. What good looks like Builds ship inside the approved scope and timeline, with risks raised before they become delays. Forms, links, calls to action, tracking, and key responsive layouts are tested end to end. Critical production issues are acknowledged and escalated quickly. Technical work supports the approved SEO, paid media, and conversion requirements. Changes are documented well enough for another qualified developer to continue the work. Live verification and rollback information exist for meaningful changes. You may be a strong fit if You test your own work instead of treating QA as someone else's job. You can translate a marketing brief into a clean technical implementation and ask when the brief is incomplete. You are comfortable diagnosing forms, tracking, DNS, SSL, speed, and responsive problems. You document systems as you build them. You know when a live change needs approval, staging, a backup, or a rollback plan. This role is probably not a fit if You consider a page done when it looks correct on your screen. You make live changes without the approved path, backup, or verification. You hide technical uncertainty until launch day. You ignore SEO, accessibility, tracking, or mobile behavior because they are not visual design. You leave configurations and fixes undocumented. Required experience Hands-on website development experience on WordPress and at least one additional CMS or landing-page platform. Working HTML and CSS knowledge, plus the ability to troubleshoot front-end behavior and platform configuration. Experience with forms, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, responsive QA, and production debugging. A portfolio of live sites or landing pages you built or materially maintained. Helpful, not required Duda and GoHighLevel experience. PHP or JavaScript experience. JSON-LD and technical SEO familiarity. Core Web Vitals, hosting, DNS, or migration experience. Your first 90 days First 30 days Learn the platforms, client environments, access rules, QA standards, tracking approach, documentation, and deployment process. Complete supervised fixes and builds. By 60 days Own routine builds, maintenance, QA, tracking work, and documentation for assigned sites with less review.
