They conduct financial modelling, assess investment opportunities, and prepare reports for portfolio managers and clients. Skills Required Investment Research Microsoft Excel Bloomberg Terminal Accounting Data Analysis Communication Skills Presentation Skills Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or progress toward the CFA designation is highly preferred. Description Investment Analysts research companies, industries, and financial markets to identify profitable investment opportunities while evaluating associated risks. They analyse financial statements, build valuation models, monitor market developments, and prepare detailed investment recommendations for portfolio managers and clients. They work closely with senior investment professionals to develop portfolio strategies, assess economic conditions, and track investment performance. Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial information are essential for success.
