Responsibilities

• Provide PTA support under the supervision of a physical therapist in a LTAC/long-term care setting
• Implement treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as directed
• Assist with patient assessment, data collection, and documentation of progress
• Support gait training, transfers, range-of-motion activities, and functional mobility
• Document patient responses and assist with updating the plan of care
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and equipment readiness; collaborate with the rehab team

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience; LTAC or skilled nursing setting preferred
• Ability to work 5x8 daytime shifts and meet guaranteed hours
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with PTs, nurses, and therapy staff
