We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to students from kindergarten to grade 12, covering all subject areas. We hire only the best—certified teachers or those completing their Education degree—and pay higher wages than the industry average. Job Summary We are hiring SAT/ACT teachers to work in person in the Westchester and Connecticut areas. Must have extensive experience with these tests and an in-depth understanding of strategies, study methods, and the math, verbal, and science sections. Responsibilities Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum. Provide supplemental assignments to help promote greater understanding of material. Offer remedial and enrichment support for students. Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress. Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student. Qualifications and Skills Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with teaching experience. Committed to providing excellent customer service. Enjoy working with students and families. Great communication skills. Ability to cater to a wide range of learning styles. Requirements Hold a bachelor’s degree. Meet at least one of the following: Valid NY State teaching certificate or equivalent. Current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate. 2+ years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school. Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. university or college. Master’s/PhD student with teaching assistant experience at an accredited U.S. university or college.
