Staff Accountant - Fixed Assets

Duties/Responsibilities Ensure fixed assets are properly accounted for bymonitoringthe end-to-end process including classification, useful life, acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, disposals, and reporting. Support implementation and operation of the Oracle financial suite including ERP, Planning and Budgeting and Oracle APEX Data warehouse toassistwith capital expenditure reporting and audit processes. Monitor and report on CIP (Construction in Progress) and ensuretimelycapitalization of projects. Provide training and guidance to ensure that the review, approval, and accounting policies for Fixed assets are globally aligned and consistently applied. Ad Hoc analysis to support management programs and productivity and growth initiatives. Prepare supporting documentation and respond to inquiries for the company's quarterly, interim andyear endaudits, including SOX internal controls processes and procedures. Plan, coordinate count and record results of periodic fixed assets physical inventory. Implement process and technology platforms to improve reporting and controls to improve operational decision making. Required Skills/Abilities: Associate’s orbachelor’s degree in Accountingpreferred. 2+ years’ experience inAccounting Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs. Ability tooperaterelated office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Ability toanticipatework needs and interact professionally with customers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
