- Provide individual psychotherapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns prevalent in substance abuse treatment. \n
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to evaluate mental health and substance use issues, developing insightful treatment plans that utilize best practices. \n
- Implement therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the needs of clients in recovery. \n
- Maintain meticulous clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress. \n
- Engage in collaborative discussions with the treatment team to optimize holistic patient care while coordinating strategies and interventions. \n
- Educate both clients and their families on the nuances of mental health and substance abuse recovery resources, equipping them with tools to support the healing process. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and treatment methodologies, integrating new findings into practice to enhance patient outcomes. \n
- Manage an effective caseload, establish and work towards meeting treatment goals, and uphold ethical standards in every interaction. \n
This role primarily focuses on diverse populations experiencing substance abuse issues alongside mental health challenges. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution. \n
- Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Florida. \n
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in the realm of substance abuse therapy. \n
- Demonstrated understanding of solution-based interventions and their application within therapy sessions. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve collaboratively, and work seamlessly within a team structure. \n
While not mandatory, experience working with clients in various settings—including schools, outpatient programs, or residential facilities—can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) can also be beneficial for efficient case management and documentation.
Compensation and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
