Sr. Delivery Manager - Federal Operations

As a Kavaliro team member, you will serve as a Systems Engineer providing end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to a National Customer. Key Responsibilities

Plan, socialize and lead complex integration plans to integrate multi-agency ground segments delivering commercial products to meet mission needs.
Successfully work in a dynamic multi-contractor environment with the ability to maintain focus on delivery with competing priorities.
Develop and publish concept of operations, architecture views, use cases, requirements.
Conduct systems integration, Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
Guide the Government customers with strategic technical planning, project management, risk management, performance engineering, and interface design products to support decision making.
Present ideas and solutions to the government at various levels (group, office, executive)
Operate at the enterprise level, integrating multiple systems, services, and processes across agencies and major system acquisitions.

Required Qualifications

Must possess NGA ground segment and/or NRO sensor experience, strong understanding of NSG/ASG and NRO space and ground systems
Experience with Commercial Imagery and/or Analytics (EO, SAR, and/or NEI)
Strong understanding and experience with the systems engineering lifecycle.
Demonstrated Systems engineering and integration experience of large-scale, mult-segment integration efforts.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience with Digital Engineering methods and tools (Agile; Confluence/Jira)
STEM degree: Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, MIS, Operations Research, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience).
15-20 years experience.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with: commercial imagery providers: Vantor (previously Maxar), Plant, BlackSky, HEO, Muon, and/or Turion NITF (National Imagery Transmission Format) Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes and tools (Cameo) NGA or NRO RFC processes and tools
INCOSE Certification (e.g., Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP))
Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, GIS, geomatics, or related fields
Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM discipline
20+ years experience
