A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. Local Team Collaboration Join our close-knit, well-established team of 21 physicians at Dignity St. John’s. Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care. Dignity St. John’s Regional Medical Center earned an “A” rating through Leapfrog Safety. Qualifications Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine. Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling Day-time hospitalist - 7 AM - 7 PM. Nocturnist - 7 PM - 7 AM. Part-time position available - 7+ shifts per month. Key Responsibilities You will manage an open ICU, but no procedures are required for this role. Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, and cross coverage depending on the shift. Compensation Annual full-time compensation is $300k- $342k, depending on the schedule worked. Full-time, average of 15 shifts per month with opportunities to moonlight.
