Job Description:
Provide nursing care for patients in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) on night shifts, focusing on critical care practices.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
- Perform procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheotomies, and chest tube insertions.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hospital experience.
- 2+ years of specialty experience in ICU.
- Active RN License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with Meditech is preferred.
- Additional preferred certifications include TNCC, CCRN, and TCRN.
