(Dental and Vision FREE after one year!)Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, organizing, and implementing daily recreational and therapeutic activities for residentsSupport group activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise programs, and social eventsEncourage resident participation while respecting individual abilities and preferencesAssist residents to and from activities when neededHelp set up and clean up activity spaces and materialsProvide one-on-one engagement for residents who are unable to attend group programsSupport special events, holiday celebrations, and themed activities within the facilityMaintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residentsDocument participation and observations as directed by the Activities DirectorCollaborate with the care team to support residents' emotional and social well-beingQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not requiredFriendly, patient, and compassionate personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCreative mindset with enthusiasm for engaging residents in meaningful activitiesAbility to assist residents with mobility to and from activities when necessary
