About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum of 24 months of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit experience required. - Acute care hospital experience is required. License: - Oregon nursing license must be obtained. Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Willing to obtain required certifications and Oregon nursing license if not active at the time of submission. Description: Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, the nurse applies the nursing process to the care of patients. The nurse teaches patients and significant others. Documentation of patient care in the medical record is required. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care is essential. Candidates with experience in PCU, IMCU, Telemetry, or Stepdown will be considered.
