Staff Accountant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the month-end close process. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting, gain exposure to financial reporting, and grow within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
  
• Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
  
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset accounting
  
• Analyze account activity and variances, providing explanations to senior team members
  
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, as needed
  
• Assist with audit requests by preparing schedules and gathering supporting documentation
  
• Maintain and follow internal controls, policies, and procedures
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
  
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience (internship or public accounting exposure is a plus)
  
• Basic understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
  
• Experience supporting month-end close activities preferred
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, formulas, basic analysis)
  
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) is a plus

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
