How you will spend your time as a Medical Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant :
- Provide direct patient care including vitals, lab work, medication administration (within scope), and follow-up support
- Assist with patient intake, triage (phone and walk-in), and care coordination
- Support providers with both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow
- Document patient information and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support behavioral health treatment plans
- Administer treatments, collect samples, and monitor patient conditions
- Handle scheduling, phones, prior authorizations, medication refills, and general front-office support
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and report any concerns promptly
Skills and experience we would like you to have as a Medical Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant :
- Active certification in one of the following:
- CMA, RMA, CNA (with QMAP), EMT (Basic/Intermediate), or similar
- 2-3 years of healthcare experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS certification required
- Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain)
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly valued
