Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support surgical teams in various specialties, including General, GYN, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Podiatry, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Trauma.
• Assist with robotic surgeries using the Davinci system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in emergency procedures as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the Operating Room.

Work Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule, including:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Weekend and holiday call requirements.
• Orientation schedule will be determined by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is required; 5+ years is preferred.
• Candidates must possess certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Ability to float to endoscopy on rare occasions may be required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary for commuting.

Additional Information

Free housing provided for one occupant, but pet units are not available. Candidates should be prepared for an engaging and dynamic work environment.
