Senior Software Engineer, JavaIn your role as an Senior Software Engineer, Java you will support Genworth's top strategic priorities. The person selected will work with the QUEST quoting application. There is a dual focus to this role. 15-25% of the time will be working as an Intent Manager, coordinating work of the QUEST Kanban team with other SCRUM Teams. Most of your time will be spent working on important Business Solutions with other SCRUM teams. You will work closely with these teams to define requirements and deliver enhancements, performance improvements, and new interfaces. You will become familiar with Long Term Care products, business principles and implementation details.QUEST is a home-grown JAVA based Long Term Care quoting system that uses various tools but not limited to Java + Java tools (JDK), Oracle, JBoss, Apache Web Server, Spring, JSON, API's and Eclipse. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
