RN - ICU

ICU Registered Nurse - 3x12 Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 19:30); Every Other Weekend required.

We are seeking a qualified ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing critical patients with various diagnoses and ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for ICU patients.

Monitor and manage patients with acute conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and cardiac arrest.

Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, including IVs and blood products.

Perform specialized procedures such as arterial line management and chest tube insertion/removal.

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.

Compliance with infection prevention and isolation protocols.

Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.

Active RN license in Maryland or Compact state.

BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.

Experience with Epic charting system preferred.

Previous charge experience is preferred.
