Your Role in the Kitchen

As a Dishwasher, you are a key part of the kitchen team. You'll ensure all dishware, cookware, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and ready for use, keeping the kitchen organized and service running efficiently. You'll work behind the scenes, supporting cooks and kitchen leadership while helping deliver meals that keep guests coming back for more.

What You'll Be Handling
Keep Everything Clean & Ready

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Monitor dish machine temperature and chemical levels to maintain food safety standards
• Handle dishware and equipment carefully to prevent breakage

Operate Equipment Safely

• Set up and operate dishwashing stations and equipment efficiently
• Clean and maintain dish machines and surrounding work areas
• Report any mechanical or safety issues promptly

Maintain a Safe, Organized Kitchen

• Keep dishwashing areas and kitchen spaces clean, organized, and sanitary
• Follow daily, weekly, and shift-specific cleaning procedures
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper waste separation

Support Your Team

• Ensure a steady flow of clean dishes to support uninterrupted kitchen service
• Communicate with cooks and kitchen leadership to prioritize dish flow during busy times
• Assist with basic prep or other tasks as needed

Professionalism & Safety

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times
• Use proper lifting techniques and required personal protective equipment
• Maintain a professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Requirements

Pay rate is determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods, including shifts lasting up to eight (8) hours.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and squatting to handle dishware, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to work safely in wet, hot, and fast-paced kitchen conditions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Required: Food Handler's Card, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and health code requirements.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain efficiency during high-volume service.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.

Testing/Work Authorization:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid U.S. work authorization required.
• Pre-Employment background check is required.

Expected Hours of Work:
Flexible availability is required, including nights, holidays, and peak seasons. Team members must maintain open availability for at least two of the three weekend days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
