Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. This position offers union membership after 45 days and benefits after 90 days, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a boot/glasses reimbursement, tool stipend, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, including inspection, tightening, adjusting pans, and lubricating.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical and material problems without guidance, and initiate action on electrical issues.
• Repair and modify equipment according to schematics and blueprints, assemble equipment, and move it to and from the production floor.
• Ensure proper feeding of material by loading rolls of wrapping material onto spindle and splicing material.
• Adjust depositing and ring feed components to ensure product quality.
• Maintain safety devices and recommend their installation when necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59280.00 - $60000.00/yr.

401k, 10 vacations, 5 personal and 5 sick, 12 holiday pays Medical dental and vision. 50k for life insurance.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Scranton,PA.
